My contribution to The Royal – an international cake challenge.
My choice was an edible bust of Elizabeth de France, the queen consort of Spain and Portugal as the first wife of King Phillip IV of Spain. Born in 1602, she was the eldest daughter of King Henry IV of France. Elisabeth was renowned for her beauty, intelligence and noble personality, which made her very popular in Spain.
I have used a styrofoam ball for the head and rice krispie treats for the body and neck. The face is sculpted using Saracino Pasta Scultura.
