A special cake for a lady turning 85. The brief was a a garden design with a flower theme topper. l came up with the idea of a plant pot topper with handmade sugar carnations and was delighted with the finish.

I wanted the topper to stand out so kept the cake soft and feminine with handpainted touches, royal iced grass trim and a little gate with a garden arch.
