This year has seen a lot of changes. In January, I left the job I had worked for 15 years, working with special needs students. I needed a place to bake, so we purchased a deli.(I know, makes sense, right?!) In February, my husband retired from Law Enforcement and April 1st we opened the Harbor Deli. I have had a space there for the past 4 years for my other business, Cake Hatteras. Since April 1st, my husband and I have worked side by side fulfilling our dream of owning a bakery deli. It’s been an interesting ride, but here we are, getting ready to celebrate Christmas. This weekend is a big weekend in Hatteras Village, It’s our annual Christmas Parade. I have always dreamed of having a bakery and a cool display widow. So here we are living the dream. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
