This cake tells the story of Mary and Andy’s favourite things; their black labrador Luna, their walk in the woods, the meadows and the fields. Mary works with butterflies and all the hand cut wafer paper butterflies are her favourites. The sunflowers, wild roses, ivy, rosehips, blackberries foliage and berries are made of sugar. The backgrounds are handpainted, the moss is edible and so are the rocks, roots and toadstools! . The deer, dog, hares, red kite and rabbit silhouettes are also edible. I hope they liked it!
