Hi! I would like to share my contribution to the Britannia Rules – The Great British Collaboration, hosted by Sugarsouls! My piece is inspired by Sherlock Holmes, the famous private detective created by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I imagined the cake like a collection of characteristic elements of the detective, like the pipe and the magnifying glass, and I added a hand-painted portrait of Sherlock inspired by the Fernando Vicente’s illustrations. I really enjoyed making this cake!!
