I wanted these wafer paper spider mums to have a playful, whimsical feel with an abundance of petals, each applied by hand 😩. Worth the extra effort. I actually designed this cake around them, with torn wafer paper strips highlighted with green edging to bring out the pattern. The result is a wedding cake perfect for an informal garden celebration.
