This is the other cake I entered in the Dublin Sugarcraft Guild Cake Competition this weekend. It won a Bronze medal (it and me did actually lol) The theme was ‘relaxation’ and this was my take on it. One judge asked how could it possibly relaxing to have a bath like that to which I replied …. you ever have small kids, like, a couple of them at a time? This happened to me when the kids were little. I was in the bath and one came in to have a pooh and then left the bathroom, seat up and toilet unflushed!!! The many toilet roll inserts are a bugbear of mine at the moment (the boys are now 17, 14 and 12)… cos the gits cannot, for the life of them, work out what to do with them when they put a new loo roll on the holder. Out of all the cakes I’ve made for competitions this is my favourite as it reflects the mayhem of this mammy’s life.
