The Sphinx is my contribution to the Fantastic Creatures Challenge of Bakerswood hosted by amazing Maria Mercedes Gonzalez Lagarma! In Greek mythology, the sphinx was a mythical creature, a demon of destruction and bad luck, which was depicted with a woman’s face, a lion’s body and bird wings.
