I made this cake for my daughter-in-laws niece’s Rapunzel themed birthday party. I was inspired by the Royal Baker’s Hello Kitty Castle Cake, and used her wonderful tutorials. Thanks Lesley!! The bottom cake was a 8" round vanilla confetti cake, as was the 4" round (7"tall) middle tower. The side towers were paper towel rolls covered in fondant, and for the roof, I used the Calla Lily drying cones, and covered them with gumpaste flowers. I also made the cupcake stand to match, as well as cupcakes with little purple and pink crowns. I covered the cake boards using Peggy Does Cake’s wonderful method. Check out her tutorial!! Thanks so much for looking!

This turned out so adorable! I love how you used the flowers as the shingles.
Thank you so much Linda! I haven’t made a cake since June, and it felt good baking again!!
