Birthday cake with “redo” – customer didn’t like the red, the width of the stripes or the color of the sugar sand. Took apart and replaced the fondant in middle tier and painted with Pharoah Gold luster dust. Deepened the color of the red fondant. Not enough time to correct stripes. Glad this cake is behind me 😳

Ahhhhh..the dreaded demanded “do over” cake!! You are a better person than me Beckey. I wouldn’t have sent a photo, nor done cake over. It’s a beautiful cake..but one you soon won’t forget I’m sure..

Pic #2 is a beautiful cake as is your redo. I like both. Can’t see her problem with the red, after all it is 40th.
