Mermaid Cake for Tillie's 8th Birthday!

White cake in a rainbow of aqua, lime green and violet! Aqua marbled fondant covering the cake to give water effect! All decorations from fondant. Unhappy with my mermaid’s head. Heads are NOT my strong suit. LOL! Plus it was 11 at night I had been working on the cake for 13 hours straight and just wanted to be done! I had just gotten home from vacation and only had a short time to get this cake done. Oh well! My granddaughter Tillie loved it and that is all that counts! Thanks for looking!

I think it turned out lovely Ellie! I know I wouldn’t be able to make such an awesome cake shortly after getting back from vacation, you must have been exhausted! I love the cupcakes too! All those those little mermaids must have taken forever to make!
