This piece was created for an international collaboration with the theme of “Wedding Traditions Around the World”.
Our group is named “Around the World in Sugar”, and this is the second time we’ve come together to create works of art to share!
My piece was inspired by the tradition of the Bride carrying “Something Blue” on her wedding day.
The base tier and the double barrel is marbled fondant, and the wreath was inspired by De La Creme studio.
Flowers are both wafer paper and gum paste
I used a paneling method for the fondant, and americolor colors electric blue, and royal blue for the dramatic colors.
