Hi everyone,
This is my contribution to this fabulous collaboration, hosted by the wonderful Nermen Sayed.
Living around the world enriched me tremendously, both artistically and culturally but my country remains without any doubt the source of my strongest beliefs, artistic influences and most precious memories, especially the ones from my childhood. Those memories were the main inspiration for my contribution to this collaboration combined with some illustrations by the amazing Jean-Baptiste Monge.
Winters in Romania are extremely cold with minus 20 degrees and heavy snows. The nature literally dies and although playing in the snow is insanely fun, in February we all look forward to the spring, we even have a holiday to celebrate it. That’s the moment we can see the beautiful color green again and the arrival of the ‘spring messengers’: the cherry blossom, the return of the migratory birds and all the insects coming back to life.
