Life In Siachen!
Siachen glacier is the highest combat zone on planet earth. Just to stay atop this 76 kilometer long glacier at 5,400 meter altitude means you have to defy all your physical, mental and spiritual limits. You have to be a super soldier, a Hero! And that’s what each one of our soldier out there at Siachen glaciers and on posts even greater heights really is.
This is my tribute to Indian soldiers, made of all cake including helicopter, a humble attempt to depict a soldiers life in Siachen glacier, where you are at the risk of getting deadly frostbite if your bare skin touches steel for just over 15 seconds (for example gun trigger). Army pilots literally push their helicopters well beyond their optimal performance, everyday!
