3 tier daffodil cake I made for a client before Christmas. Made over 40 daffodils but only had a few to spare. Were a bit problematic trying to keep them in place on the cake with royal icing so after a few attempts I resorted to melted chocolate – worked perfectly! (inspiration of this cake from the Cake Decorating Magazine issue number 33)
