The cake is almond-vanilla and rich chocolate made into a checkerboard pattern, frosted in almond-vanilla buttercream and decorated with fondant accents and real M & M’s. All work is completely hand done without cutters or templets. The flags in front are edible images. The birthday girl, Kayla, likes Kyle Busch, so the top of the cake features his number 18 and signature. Kayla’s name is done in the same style writing as Kyle’s signature.
