This cake was a huge challenge for me!! A ancient school friend has contacted me for a Pokemon cake. His son was a huge fan and his favourite character was Mega Glurak X!! I was just like 😱🤔!! Luckily my kids have shown me how it looks like. 😜

The design was up to me! And of course i had to put me in trouble!! I always wanted to make a Pokemon Ball with a character hidden inside as in the anime!!!!

The Pokemon Mega Glurak X was handmade from fondant. The cake was a half sphere. The upper half sphere where candy melts! Anyway, i have never make a sphere cake before. And the design with this idea was itself a challenge because it was a very very hot summer day as i have to deliver the cake! No AC!

Til to date i have never get a picture of the birthday boy cracked up the Pokemon Ball to get his sugar toy. I would like to see his reaction….
