There’s some kind of power in the cocoa pod. Right down from the tree through a refination process until it becomes “Chocolate Magic”. I’m really happy with the first feature of my “Chocolate Magic” series at the last Cake International show.

This first showpiece of the Chocolate Magic series is “The Cocoa Fairy spreading her magic to let all begin”. A wall of 2’5 x 5 meters covered with about 200 kg of Callebaut chocolate and some other amazing products have been used to construct this high relief over a foam wall (awesome foam from Dummies direct that can prepare almost every shape you need for your exhibition or dummie cakes). All covered in dark chocolate ganache with some chocolates and filled bomboms prepared by me and Aneesh Popat. As last magical touch I’ve painted the wall with gel, airbrush and powder from Magic Colours.

This was a live feature I produced during the show (whilst I wasn’t judging, demoing or teaching my class) and finished on sunday. It has been a pleasure to share the feature with all the visitors at Cake International who approached the stand to taste the amazing flavour of the best chocolate brand.
