A loving husband asked me to create this lifesized 3D Westie cake to surprise his wife for her birthday. It is my very first animal cake and I was very pleased how well he turned out. Thankyou to Julie Cain for her pioneering work that gave me the courage to tackle this job! The lady was also allergic to cocoa….poor soul! ….but a lemon and poppy seed cake with Swiss meringue buttercream fixed that ! I am a bit late in posting this for the quarterly awards…but I will cast my vote for the amazing ones that have entered! Good luck to all. Marianne x
