I am in awe of the talent here and speechless when it comes to sculpting and modelling figures so I have to admit that I was a bit reluctant to post my 3D whipped cream Hen here but got confidence after the cake was appreciated in the forums in India .Cream definitely has its limitations and I really doubted myself if I could pull this off in cream .The picture was given by the client and I tried my best to replicate it .Carved the hen out of two cakes and then coated with chocolate cream after sculpting .(Attached image of WIP).Set it overnight in the fridge and then did the piping the next morning (pic 3)Everything is whipped cream including the comb and wattle except for the tiny fondant eyes .Though it took hours was happy with the outcome and ofcourse super excited that I could pull of a 3D carving in cream .
