First of all I want to thank Elisabete Caseiro for the invitation to be a part of this beautiful collaboration and congratulate all the artists involved for their great work.

For this collaboration my piece is inspired the Gipsy Music. I love the exuberance and colours of Balkan gipsy, their love for life and the way they celebrate all: singing and dancing.
The cake is a double barrel cake with gray buttercream icing. Then , for emulate the sand I spread it all over with little yellow isomalt grains.
On Top of this I layed the deep yellow gumpaste shawl. The Flowers on it are hand painted ( no pattern used for that).
And for finishing, I made a bunch of free formed colourfull Ranunculus .
I choosed deep colours as I wanted to capture the gipsy happy spirit.
