I was over the moon when I found out my brother said yes and I couldn’t wait to make them a special cake to celebrate their engagement 😊
We looked at ideas for styles of wedding cakes so I had some idea of what their tastes are and this is where I got inspired to create a smaller version as an engagement present.
Bottom cake is coconut rum with a coconut rum buttercream, middle is a vanilla sponge with jam and vanilla buttercream and the top tier is a Jaffa cake which has an orange jelly and chocolate mousse filling.
All went down very well and they loved their cake 🤗
