I don’t usually make buttercream cakes but was pretty pleased with how this concrete finish came out.

It was achieved by spreading blobs of different shades of grey buttercream together over several layers. The cake is finished with a dark chocolate drip, metallic chocolate shards and gum paste copper triangles.
