The couple that I made this cake for, wanted a specific colour to the peony, and had chosen a real old pink colour. They wanted something fresh, but not too bright, and this is what I came up with.

I loved this design, even down to handcutting out all the pieces for the “lace effect” and doing the hand stitching on them.

The flavours were coconut and lime, chocolate with raspberry and white chocolate and vanilla with strawberry and white chocolate.
