One of our grandsons had requested the Elder wand for his birthday cake, he had recently seen the latest Harry Potter film, realising there would not be much cake to eat from a wand (unless I made it about three feet long)! I decided to make a spell book to go with it. Vanilla triple layer sponge with strawberry and vanilla cream filling. Oh and of course the handmade wand!
