I made this cake for a local bake off competition, I loved making it as it was really nice to make something just for me…my complete idea and slightly crazy thought process!! ;P
Starting from the bottom, the ice cream cone is RKT inside and covered in Sugarpaste with royal icing detail, the ice cream itself is chocolate cake with a cherry jam and amaretto dark chocolate ganache, covered with white chocolate buttercream, the profiteroles were made with chocolate cake mixed with buttercream and rolled into balls, then coated with white chocolate and a dark chocolate and ginger topping, the chocolate cake slice is again chocolate cake with cherry jam and amaretto dark chocolate ganache and then covered in modelling chocolate….finally the jug is polystyrene covered with sugarpaste…….phew!
Really pleased to say I won!! XD
