Cats and books 21st Birthday cake

Paige was 21 this weekend and her Mum Julie knows just how much she loves cats and reading.
So we designed a cake to combine the two including her favourite book ‘The Bell Jar’ by Sylvia Plath and some playful and sleepy cats too.
The grey and ginger cats are hand painted using sugar dusts and vodka.

Ahhh, this is just too delightful Karen. Sylvia Plath is a brilliant writer…. Love the one lying on top of the books, that’s so typical of how cats lie too. Delightful story here xx
