When you are asked to remake an ICONIC cake by one of the best artists in the cake world, there is NO room for error! This Up, Up, & Away themed balloon cake by Jessica Harris, is truly a beloved classic, & I was thrilled to have the opportunity to create it! My clients wanted as close to the original as possible, but I did tweak the colors & designs of the balloons just a bit, so it would be my own.

The cake is BIG—-a double-barreled 8 inch topped with a 6 inch. The bottom tier is a full foot tall. The original was less than half the size, but the proportions are the same. The entire cake is Hot Chocolate Cake with White Chocolate Swiss Meringue Buttercream filling & icing.
