From February but only just getting around to posting this. (Although those of you on my FB page will have seen it at the time). This cake certainly tested my patience and looking back at it there’s loads I would do differently. But I’m sure many will agree that’s the world of cake making and decorating, that you are sometimes just limited by your own mind. However, it received a great response when I made it and that made all my concerns melt away.

This by far was the heaviest cake I’ve made and thank goodness it was collected rather than left to me to deliver. I would say this cake brought my mojo back and I’m determined now to keep trying, keep improving and keep making cake!
