This cake had a whole set of issues that this was not intended to be this design – cake was supposed to be buttercream with ganache drip which was to be painted in watercolors. Cake’s buttercream would NOT set (humidity last weekend was NUTS), then the ganache was not the right conisistency and would not dry to be paintable so i ripped it all off, paneled the fondant and then my daughter painted the watercolors as this cake was for one of her best friends and she wanted to do it. At this point, I was beyond hate in my feelings towards this cake so…go to it girl! Love how her painting came out.
