This cake was made to celebrate the last day of class for students in the organic chemistry intersession. The instructor saw the first one I made of these and fell in love with it so requested one for her students.

I don’t like making the same cake twice so I had to change things up a bit for this one. The biggest change was using Rolkem Lumo Gel to add the pop of color in regular light and then the glowing effect under UV light. The cake was a huge hit with the instructor and the students :-) I hope you all like it too.

I apologize for the backgrounds of the photos not being so great but they were taken in the classroom. They looked better quality-wise than the ones I took at home. The best way to capture the glowing effect was to have the cake in the box.
