Every now and again a cake sets a new challenge . . . Or two!
Lynsey sent me a couple of cakes that she liked different aspects of which included ruffles, a quilt effect, her chosen colour scheme of pink and gold and asked if I could include a hold tiara . . .
This was first ruffled tier and although very time consuming I must say I’m hooked!
The crown was made by rolling sugar paste mixed with Tylo powder very thinly into a mould then hand cutting to shape (cake lace is on my next to do list which would have made my life so much easier) . . . Then I handpainted the gold detail to finish.

This is most certainly fit for a princess!!! It’s so perfect in every way, and love the ruffles and crown
You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits
This is beautiful! Love, love the ruffles!
