Playing with Isomalt today. Because I am so into Rachael Teufel’s Geode cake and Viki Kane’s Geode topper I thought I would try one of my favorites, Rose Quartz crystals. I made several silicone molds using glass chandelier prism’s. Colored my Isomalt with pink petal dust and poured these plus a circle base. Then assembled with hot Isomalt as glue. I think had I used gel color rather than dust they might have been more iridescent but I kind of like the look along with a few clear prism’s.
