A Mother’s Plea

I am here…always
when dark clouds surround you
softly whispering
tomorror’s dreams of iridescent colors
drift tenderly upon my river of devotion,
swaddling you into my embracing shores
gently I will caress each hardship
that consumes your heart
lean your spirit againts my strength
forgive each raindrop
when lightning strikes
leave behind there is due of confusion
liberate your pain
for i will ascend beside you
guiding
feather to hope
gifting my love for comfort
close those tired wings little one,
do not fly
