May the Fourth be with you!

Star Wars – May the Sugar Force Be With You. A collaboration from sugar artists from around the world to celebrate Star Wars Day, May 4th.

I was honoured to be invited to join this bunch of talented sugar artists to create a piece to celebrate Star Wars Day. My contribution to the collaboration is a life size bust of Episode 1’s iconic villain, Darth Maul. Modelled from a combination of both cake and Rice Krispie treats and then hand painted, he was definitely one of my biggest challenges to date.
