I am very happy to share with you the cake I made for the Sugar Art for Autism Collaboration. Nearly 100 cake artists from 21 countries came together to raise awareness for Autism and we have create something utterly amazing, heartfelt and meaningful. Something that proudly honors those with Autism and their loved ones.

For the design of this cake I was inspired by the puzzle piece, which is the international symbol of autism, and the Autism Awareness Heart. In this design the hearts symbolise the love and dedication of all the parents, mentors and those working with people with autism, who I imagined as beautiful and delicate flowers who need love and nurturing to be able to ‘bloom’ and be empowered to be as independent as possible.
