Thrilled to be part of this collaboration!
I’ve been so touched by the comments from ASD parents. Many thanks to Dina and Suzy for asking me to be a part of it.

What happens when nearly 100 cake artists from 21 countries come together to raise awareness for Autism? They create something utterly amazing, heartfelt and meaningful. Something that proudly honors those with Autism and their loved ones.
We’ve done more than just bake a cake . . . so head on over and take a look. We hope through our actions, you too will be motivated to make a difference. And if you can spare a donation to our chosen charities, all the better!

I love the book The Curious Incident of the dog in the Night-time so I chose to base my cake in that. I showed the author, Mark Haddon, via Twitter and he thought it was great so that’s a lovely bonus. If you don’t know the book I’m sure my cake will seem very odd to you but I highly recommend you reading it. Many autistic families find it helps them to understand what their child is experiencing.

Thanks for looking
