I was invited to join a very fun collaboration called A Sugar Artists Tea Party! My design was based on a piece of artwork I found of an elegant Victorian lady drinking tea. To me it was perfect as I love the vintage look. Despite not being much of a painter I decided I would try and paint her.

I have a gorgeous lace mat which I used as an impression mat for the bottom tier and for some reason pearls always seem vintage to me. A wafer paper background on the middle extended tier and sugar flower to top it off.
