Avant Garde Defying Gravity

I was asked and honored to have been part of this amazing collaboration featuring amazing sugar artist from around the globe.

My piece was inspired by Avant makeup and hair. It is a gravity defying cake consisting of 3 different size domes which are actual cake.

The texture on the ruffles was created with a blend of sugars mixed with edible paint to resemble sparkling glitter and sequence
