Inspired by the invitations , color schemes & venue decor of a wedding ceremony- here is a modern wedding cake . The 5 tiers depict the transformation of various elements like hammered gold glasses at the table, Ruffled drapes, flower arrangements & other embellishments at the venue.
All tiers are covered in fondant, bottom tier is made using wax paper transfer technique & damask stencil. Airbrushed for the hammered gold tier look, used mint color in middle tier & next is wax paper covered tier, that was hand painted. Top round tier is covered with Ruffles. Cake is finally adorned with a peony & a rustic heart.
