I was commissioned to make this custom converse style hi-top shoe cake, by a shoe shop for their grand opening day!

I airbrushed the board. The cake is made from chocolate cake and vanilla buttercream, sculpted and carved and then covered in fondant, the shading is created by edible dust colours.

I really enjoyed this cake – and is currently one of my fave cakes!
