A little cake made for a gorgeous girl and an aspiring gymnast. Modelling people is definitely not my forte – I have a lot to learn (!) but I’m pretty chuffed she stayed up! The ribbon is formed with wired wafer paper, mainly to keep it light and not to weigh down the model.

Inside is a soft lemon sponge with homemade lemon curd and a lemon swiss meringue buttercream.
