This was my first gravity defying cake. I was very proud of my power tool skills, as I could not ask my husband for assistance, as this was a surprise cake for our 20th wedding anniversary. The Tree supporting structure was a wooden frame, built up with rice krispie treats and then covered in fondant – even carving our initials in the trunk. The 2 red love birds on the house represent my husband and myself and the 2 blue birds on the branch, our children. The cake was filled with M & M’s inside as a further surprise
