This cake was made for the Miracle Match marathon which takes place in Waco Texas at the end of January every year. It raises money and awareness for stem cell donation for the Be the Match foundation. This cake tell the story of the race. The bridge (Waco suspension bridge) is the finishing line along with “Bridging the gap” between donors and recipients. Be the Match is the organization that benefits from the race The longhorns are at the start line. The orange tier is the finishers ribbon and the Stars was the finishers medal that year. The Roses look like flames and represent the fire department, which is the organization that started the race and is a huge part of the race. The name of the race is the Miracle Match Marathon. The buildings and landmarks can be seen during the race. the grey background is the elevation change during the race. Finally the runners will see and be apart of everything on the cake.
