Squirrel Hair

This sugar figurine was made for my State Cake Competition (it came second).

It is based on an incredible illustration by a friend of mine, Terry Whidborne. (see his amazing work, and the original squirrel hair here… http://the7thworld.com/2014/01/behind-the-scenes-of-unfettered-part-one/)

She is hand sculptured from gum paste and hand painted with Rolkem dusts.
