This was my first painted cake.

It is a portrait of my late father. He was my biggest fan and I wanted to pay tribute to him in my work. I free-hand-painted the image of him on the top with white gel colours onto black fondant. The flames were hand cut and airbrushed and the image of the front was an edible image of one of his drawings. He was a hot rod man.
