This has to be one of my favourite cakes so far. This was for a little 4 year old boy whose parents found me through Bake A Wish Ireland. I had an absolute blast making it. This Gruffalo sat just over a foot tall and even had a secret compartment of sweets in the log that he’s sitting on. Log is Rice Krispie Treats covered in chocolate and modelling chocolate, his body is madiera cake with jam & vanilla buttercream, tusks and teeth are modelling chocolate and everything else is edible other than his ‘skull’ which is a dummy. (I ran out of cake!) Couldn’t have asked for a better reaction for someone collecting their cake. Hope you like it!
