Happy New Year everyone! Humble apologies to my Cakes Decor family for my extended absence…..I have missed you all! I have been super busy making people happy creating lots of cakes, that I haven’t had the precious time to connect with you all and comment on the inspiring cakes on this wonderful site. …..I have a lot of catching up to do…!! Here is my little ‘doggy’ handbag cake that I made for my sister in laws birthday on Christmas Day. She never feels her birthday is special, so I wanted to surprise her with a wonderful cake. I haven’t made a handbag before and knew I could make her smile by making her little dog ‘Rocky’ poking his head out of the bag. I made her initials in icing, created the intricate pattern and painted the board to complete my copy of a Dior classic.
