Have not been in the mood for any cake decorating lately but wanted to make a cake for my neighbors for Christmas. Didn’t really have any design in mind except that I wanted to do a choir topper. Usually like to make the toppers ahead of time so I can take my time doing them. Not the case this time as I rushed to just get them done. Anyway, cake got done but not really happy with it. Think I need to take a break for a while and hopefully I will get my mojo back.

Thank you both. You are really sweet. I think I was just too tired from all the cooking & baking. By the time I got around to decorating the cake, I did a terrible job and the finish leaves a lot to be desired. I feel like I’m getting worse at this instead of better. Oh well, at least the recipients loved it and that’s all the matters.
