Sage and silver color scheme – something a little different for this winter wedding cake. Icy butterflies are the centerpiece of the cake. The butterflies were designed after an ornament and are made from gum-paste – painted with rolkem silver and dusted with disco and sparkling sugar. They have some piped details and a little crushed isomalt was added to the wings to give them a little sparkle.

The cake has been stenciled and silver dragees were added to add dimension and accent the beautiful ornate patterns of the stencil which echoes the butterfly in it’s design.
